How the Tanzanian supplement market works
Swahili is the working language of most counters, and product labelling is a mix of English and Swahili.

Regulation in Tanzania
The Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority regulates medicines and related products and licenses pharmacies (duka la dawa). The Tanzania Bureau of Standards covers standards for food-type products including many supplements.
