Affiliate Disclosure
BioMedic Africa earns revenue through affiliate arrangements with partner order lines. This page explains exactly how that works, which pages are affected, and what it does not change.
How we earn
When you submit an order form on this site, or follow certain links to a supplier, the resulting order may be attributed to BioMedic Africa through a partner network. If the order is completed, we may receive a commission from that network.
This does not change the price you pay. The commission is paid by the network out of its own arrangement with the advertiser, not added to your total.
Which pages carry commercial links
- Every page under /order/ — these are explicitly commercial pages with an order form
- Product pages under /products/, which link to the corresponding order page
- Category, brand and country pages where a documented product is listed
Health topics, ingredient pages and health guides are editorial. They may link onward to product pages, and those pages carry disclosures, but the editorial pages themselves are written without regard to which product earns anything.
What commercial arrangements do not change
- What we say about the evidence for an ingredient
- Whether we point out that a supplier has published no composition
- Whether we note that an advertisement makes claims a supplement may not lawfully make
- The safety warnings and "see a professional" sections on every page
- Our refusal to publish ratings, scores or rankings we cannot justify
The clearest evidence of that firewall is on the pages themselves: several products from which we could earn a commission carry a prominent note that the supplier has not published what is in the pack, together with a recommendation to demand the label before ordering. That is the standard, not an exception.
What we are not
We are not the seller. We do not hold stock, dispatch parcels, take payment or handle returns. Orders are fulfilled by the supplier and its call centre, and payment is made to the courier on delivery. Questions about a specific order should go to the supplier’s representative on the confirmation call.
We are also not a pharmacy, a clinic or a regulator, and we do not claim to own, manufacture or represent any brand described on this site.
