Uganda’s supplement market runs mainly through licensed pharmacies and drug shops in Kampala and regional towns, supermarket health aisles, and online sellers reaching buyers through classifieds and social channels.
TMDA · TZSTanzania
In Tanzania most supplements are bought face to face — in pharmacies and licensed medicine shops in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza and Dodoma — with online ordering handled largely through direct call-centre and social-channel sales.
FDA Ghana · GHSGhana
Ghana runs one of the more structured supplement markets in West Africa: the Food and Drugs Authority registers food supplements and herbal products, and registered packs carry a registration number you can look for on the label.
NAFDAC · NGNNigeria
Nigeria is the largest supplement market covered on this site by volume, with national pharmacy chains, a very active e-commerce sector, and a NAFDAC registration number printed on legitimately registered packs.
SAHPRA · ZARSouth Africa
South Africa has the most developed regulatory framework for complementary medicines on the continent, a mature retail pharmacy sector, and large online retailers that carry supplements at national scale.

Why we expand one country at a time
Supplement retail is local. The regulator, the pharmacy chains, the marketplaces, the currency, the delivery networks and even the label conventions differ between Nairobi and Lagos. A page that covers "Africa" in the abstract is useful to nobody standing in a shop.
So we build depth before breadth: Kenya first, then Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa as demand justifies. Each country page states what we have verified and what we have not.
