How We Rate Products
Every score on this site is calculated from the same five criteria, by code, from the same data the pages are built on. Nobody types a number in.
It is an Editorial Rating, not a customer rating
We collect no customer ratings and publish none, so every number on this site is labelled an Editorial Rating. It answers one question: how good is this offer to buy from? Price, pack, format, directions and the order terms — the things a buyer can check before paying. Whether a capsule suited you personally is not something we are in a position to score.
What the score never does is mark a product down for information its maker has not put online. A missing figure is a gap in what is published, not a fault in the product, and it is never turned into a low number.
The five criteria

Each criterion is shown on the same five-point scale as the headline score. Published band: 4.1–4.8.
Why some products have no score
1 of 62 products are unrated. A product that is not on order right now has no price or delivery terms to score. Publishing a low score in that situation would be scoring our own gaps and would read as a verdict on the product, so those pages simply carry no number.
What the scores actually look like
Across the 61 rated products the range is 4.7 to 4.8, averaging 4.8. No product scores a flat five — a perfect mark would mean there is nothing left for a supplier to publish, and that is rare.
The spread is narrow because these are all offers we could verify end to end: a live order line, a stated price and a real pack. What separates the top of the band from the bottom is how much detail the manufacturer has put in front of you before you order.

Scores change on their own
The number is recomputed on every build from the product data. If a supplier publishes a composition, the score rises without anyone editing it. If an order route stops working, the product drops out of the rating entirely. We do not adjust scores by hand, and we do not raise one because a product sells well.
What the score is not
- Not a medical opinion, and not advice about whether a product suits you.
- Not a measure of effectiveness — no score here is based on results.
- Not lowered because a maker publishes less. Unknown is not the same as negative.
- Not influenced by what we earn. The criteria are the same for every product.
- Not a customer rating. Nobody has voted on anything.
