Product and market information
Product details come from supplier and affiliate-network material we have documented directly: product names, declared ingredients where published, advertised prices, pack information, target markets and delivery terms. Every product page records the date the price was recorded and states plainly where a supplier has published nothing.
Retailer and marketplace information comes from company websites and public store listings, with the date checked shown on the page. We do not claim a retailer stocks a specific product unless we have verified it.
How we weigh sources
- Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of human trials carry the most weight
- Individual randomised controlled trials come next, read with their size and duration in view
- Observational studies can show association, not causation, and we say so
- Laboratory and animal studies inform hypotheses and are labelled as such
- Traditional use is described as context, never as evidence of efficacy or safety
- Manufacturer material is treated as a claim to be reported, not a fact to be repeated
