Comparison
Joint Support Supplements in Kenya Compared: Ingredients, Doses, Prices
Three joint products sold in Kenya, side by side. One publishes its ingredients and two do not — which turns out to be the most useful thing the table shows.
Joint products are the largest supplement category in Kenya, driven by physically demanding work and an ageing urban population. The products are more similar than their branding suggests, so the comparison comes down to what is declared and at what dose.
Use the published research as a benchmark while you read: glucosamine trials generally used 1500 mg per day, chondroitin trials 800–1200 mg, and MSM trials 1–3 g. A product that does not state its amounts cannot be measured against those figures.

What to compare on
Declared ingredients
Does the supplier publish what is in the pack? Two of the three products here do not, which limits everything else you might want to compare.
Dose against trial levels
The single most useful comparison, and the one most often impossible to make because amounts are withheld.
Capsules per day
A product taken three times daily consumes a pack faster than a once-daily one. Compare cost per day, not per pack.
Price in shillings
These three span roughly 5,000 to 6,800 KES per pack at advertised promotional prices.
Methodology and limitations
- The table lists only products BioMedic Africa has documented from supplier material, with the price advertised on the supplier order line on the date shown. We do not rank products, award scores or publish star ratings, because we have not tested them and any score would be invented.
- Where a supplier does not publish a quantitative ingredient panel, the table says so rather than filling the gap with an assumption. An undisclosed formula is itself a comparison result.
- Prices are promotional figures from direct-order channels and change frequently. Treat them as indicative and confirm on the call.
- Availability refers to the channel we have documented. We do not claim retail pharmacy stocking we have not verified.
No ratings, deliberately. We publish no star ratings, scores or "best of" rankings for these products. We have not tested them, and a rating without a testing methodology behind it is decoration, not information.

Frequently asked questions
Which joint supplement is best in Kenya?
We do not name a best product because we have not tested any of them. The most defensible choice discloses its ingredients at doses comparable to published trials, at a price you can sustain for three months.
Where else can I buy joint supplements in Kenya?
Goodlife, Haltons and Pharmaplus branches stock pharmacy brands with full labelling; Jumia and Kilimall list a wider range from third-party sellers.
