Blood Pressure Support Supplements in Ghana Compared: Ingredients and Prices
Two cardiovascular products sold in Ghana. One publishes seven named botanicals, two of which interact with common cardiac medicines; the other publishes nothing at all.
Ghana’s Food and Drugs Authority registers food supplements and herbal medicinal products, and registered packs carry a registration number. That gives Ghanaian buyers a check most African markets do not offer.
Between these two products, the difference is disclosure: one names its full formula, the other relies on a news-style advertisement with no ingredient information.

What to compare on
Disclosure
Cardinol names olive leaf, green tea, ginkgo biloba, grape seed, hawthorn, L-arginine and magnesium. Cardilax names nothing.
Interaction profile
Ginkgo increases bleeding risk with anticoagulants; hawthorn interacts with digoxin and other cardiac medicines. Knowing they are present is the point of a declared formula.
FDA Ghana number
Look for a registration number on the pack; it is the single most useful authenticity marker in this market.
